Hi There!
I realized I haven't formally introduced myself on my social pages, and there are a lot of new faces so I think it's time!
I'm Kim! A wife, daughter, sister & momma to a beautiful baby girl who is almost (gulp!) ONE.
My journey as a photographer wasn't something that just happened overnight. I've always had a creative mind ever since I was little, and always loved getting behind the lens and capturing people & places- whether it be with a black & white film camera, those old kodak disposables, polaroids, the 90's & 2000's version of a digital camera, and of course my now professional DSLR & mirrorless cameras.
When I started photographing families, it started out as a hobby/side hustle in addition to my job as a people & sales leader for a fortune 500 technology company.
When it came time to starting our family, my husband and I faced some rather difficult times. After several years of pregnancy loss & infertility I decided to take a leap of faith & take a step away from my full-time corporate job to focus on my health and starting our family. When we finally had our daughter in the Spring of 2023 with the help of IVF, we decided take this as an opportunity for me to raise my daughter as a stay-at-home mom. This also gave me the opportunity to take what has always been my passion and was a side hustle-- and build it into something greater.
I now have the privilege and great honor of photographing families, people & pets and doing what I LOVE. In addition to my photography business, I also work part-time at my church as a communications & events coordinator which kept me grounded through our years of infertility & loss and grew my faith with God.
When i'm not photographing or working, you'll find me spending time with my daughter, our two cats, husband, or visiting family. I've also been known to be working on a craft or two (or three or four! Just ask my husband) and putting my creative mind to work as I find it's my best outlet.
