travel just a few minutes down the road to a beautiful spot
overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains

and regalness of Biltmore Estate, the grand views at the UNCA Lookout Observatory & Craggy Gardens, tulip season at Never Ending Flower Farm,
or the majestic rock formations and mountain tops at Black Balsam Knob.
We'll meet at a pre-determined location in Asheville and provide
you a session that feels like something out of a storybook.

Studio Sessions
If you wish to have your session in a studio, this is always an option! There is a small fee for studio sessions to help cover the cost of the studio rental. This starts at $75+ per hour depending on the location, rental time length and time of year. Please reach out to Kimberly if this is something you are interested in and we can discuss the scope as well as the look & feel you are going for and I can recommend one or more of my favorite studios for your session. Photographs are an Investment
Photographs are something that you will have forever. The one investment that you will never regret making. They are timeless memories with loved ones, moments captured that you can never replicate. Something that you will be able to cherish for years to come and look back on when your children are older and can share with their own families someday. While I would love to work with everyone, I do understand that I may not be a fit for everyone's budget. From time-to-time I do offer styled model calls which may be an option - please reach out if this is of interest and I am happy to share more information & let you know if any are coming up anytime soon. What is the difference between a Petite, Keepsake, Heirloom and Storyteller Session?
If you have booked with me before, please see below as session offerings have changed from years past and are likely different from what you may have known them to be in previously. Continue reading below to find out more and reach out with any questions!
Petite (aka: Mini)
These are often short, seasonal pop-up sessions throughout the year such as Back-to-School, Mommy & Me, or a limited number of spots during the Fall/Holiday time. Petite sessions are no longer than 15 minutes in length and families will be provided between 7-10 hand-edited hi resolution digital images, somtimes* with the option to upgrade your package or purchase additional images at $20 each. These sessions are back-to-back and often have other fees involved on the photographer's part such as studio rental, land rental (i.e. tree farm, sunflower fields), character rentals & more which are built into the cost. If you think you will need more time than the session allotment, please reach out to discuss the option of upgrading to a Keepsake or Heirloom and reserving additional session time.
Keepsake
Keepsakes are offered year-round and are a fantastic option for families that only have a need for a small amount of photographs. Keepsake sessions are a great option if you have little ones that you know won't last a full hour, yet know you will also need longer than 15 minutes- or simply don't want to feel rushed in a seasonal petite session. They are great for those that are looking for either a small family photo refresh or those that don't want or need more than a few photos. If you're looking for the closest package to that of a petite or mini session, this is the one to book. Keepsake sessions are done within 1-2 hours of sunset and includes 20 hand-edited digital images, and sometimes will have the option to purchase additional images at $20/ea or upgrade your package*.
Heirloom
Heirloom sessions are my most popular package for families and couples. We will meet at pre-determined location and your package will include 40 hand-edited digital images. Heirloom sessions are done within 1-2 hours of sunset and great option for those that do not want to feel rushed in a session or would like more than one look or outfit, or a nearby location change. This is a popular package for Maternity/Expecting Baby, Newborn & especially Seniors! You'll receive a nice selection and variety of photographs, sometimes with the option to purchase additional or upgrade*.
Storyteller
A Storyteller session is just that. You'll receive a minimum of 55+ hand-edited hi-resolution digital images from our time together. Are you a model looking to update your portfolio with a wide variety of new headshots taken at multiple locations or outfits/looks? Are you planning an engagement and would like to capture every moment on film as a keepsake? Are you a couple looking for a unique session that tells a story from start-to-finish? Are you a family looking to update your home's gallery wall? Are you looking to gift a special session to someone you love such as a grandparent? Are you celebrating a special milestone in your or your little one's life? If yes to any of these, this is the session for you! Your photos in my Storyteller package will do just that - tell a story from the moment we start together - until the last photo captured. We'll get every moment and small details in between-- from her little fingers wrapped around yours, the way he smiles at you when you aren't looking, those little giggles (yes, LOTS of giggles!) and so much more! The storyteller session is a great option for those wanting a full gallery of photographs, for those that don't want to miss out on any moments being captured, or you simply just don't want the stress of receiving a set number of images. With this package, you keep them all (all of the edited images that is!)
Professional Headshots
Most individuals that are seeking updated headshots will choose from my Keepsake, Heirloom or Storyteller Packages. If you are a corporation or small business looking to receive headshots for more than one individual, I do offer corporate rate packages. These rates vary depending on the number of individuals getting photos and how many photos you are seeking. This can be for as little as one person, all the way up to 30+ individuals if you're looking to update your business or organization's photographs whether it be for internal use or for your website or LinkedIN.
Special Occasion & Event
Special Occasion & Event bookings are priced per hour and highly dependent on the scope; i.e. photographing time, desired number of edits, number of people, etc. We will have a call to help me better understand your vision for the event, share any details and I will prepare a custom quote from there.

The Process
I. Inquire
The first step is reaching out! Simply fill out the inquiry form under the contact page or email me directly at info@kimberlyannephoto.com with your desired session, date(s) and any times or locations and any additional details that may help!
II. Booking Link!
Questionnaire, Styling, Contract & Invoice
If your date is available, I will confirm with you directly and send you a booking link which will include a brief questionnaire to get to know you and/or your family a bit better prior to our session together, as well as to better understand exactly what you'd like to get from our session together. Within the booking link, there will also be a questionnaire asking if you are interested in my complementary styling services as well as a session contract and invoice. I do require a $150 non-refundable retainer for all session bookings which will be applied to your final session total (unless otherwise noted). If you are booking a Petite - in most cases the full balance is due up front. Please refer to booking details. The outstanding balance for all sessions is due the day of your session. If this is for a special occasion such as a baby shower, engagement, milestone celebration or holiday party - after we speak and discuss the scope, I will prepare a quote and send to you first for review.
III. Deliver memories.
On all full-price sessions (not including petite), within 5 business days of your session with me, you will receive an email with a link to download my mobile app to view 2-3 sneak peek photos! 2-6 weeks following your session, you will receive an email from me with a private, password protected link to access your gallery to view and download your photographs. This gallery will stay open for 30 days and you will be free to share and download your photos either individually or as a full gallery. Additionally, you will be able to order prints, wall art, cards and other artwork directly from your gallery storefront from top print shops in the nation. I am also happy to provide custom designed print services!
